As the year comes to an end, thought it would be fun to share the brides who allowed me to be a part of their big day. I had an incredible year, filled with wonderful weddings…This year, I brought down the number of weddings to 20, and it really was the perfect number. I was able to fully enjoy each and every one, and as I look each bride, I immediately remember the story of their day. I love what I do.

Antoinette & Blayne Wedding
As I was finishing up this wedding, it occurred to me that I have not been posting wedding pics in the blog for some time. Not sure the story, but there are about 50 of them that have not been shown to world….I can’t have that. So, to get things started, we have Antoinette and Blayne.
One of my favorite churches to shoot it, the ceremony took place at Saint Mary’s Cathedral in NW Portland. Love the feel of the church, and the light is always wonderful.
Mike Piper and An Affair To Remember took care of the flowers, and they looked fabulous!
On to The Governor Hotel for the reception. The cocktail hour was in the Renaissance Room, which is beautiful. The color and light make for a wonderful place to shoot. The reception took place in the Grand Ballroom, which is a few lights away from being a really gorgeous place for a reception.
The whole event was great….Bringing people from all over the world. Beautiful people and beautiful locations add up to a whole lot of fun for a photographer.
